Werewolf in the North Woods A Wild About You Novel Vicki Lewis Thompson Books
Werewolf in the North Woods was so much fun and gave me happy nostalgic feelings since it reminded me of Gone With the Nerd, also by Vicki Lewis Thompson and involving Sasquatch! Abby's grandfather is convinced that he's spotted a mated pair of Bigfoots (Bigfeet?), but his neighbors--the Gentry pack--don't want humans all over their land. So they call in Roarke (Aidan's brother) to dismantle his claims, in hopes of running the old man out of town so they can purchase his land for themselves. Well, Roarke intends to do his job, but then he meets Abby, and she has some news for him.My favorite part of Werewolf in the North Woods (other than the Sasquatch family!) was how everything came out in the open at the beginning, so that there was no "you lied me! how can I ever trust you! but I love you!" fight. Abby catches Roarke shifting and blackmails him into taking her to find the Bigfoot pair. She's very intrigued by the existence of werewolves, but Roarke doesn't want her involved. Too bad they have super chemistry and can't keep their hands off each other!
The plot of Werewolf in the North Woods was a lot of fun. I love that Bigfoot actually exists, and that the Weres are a sort of protector for them. Roarke was also hired with tracking them down and moving them someplace safer, so that they could have their baby in peace. Of course, they have to run into some trouble before completing their tasks. This part I didn't enjoy quite as much, since I didn't see the point of having Cameron Gentry kidnapping and threatening Abby. It seemed like tension thrown in for tension's sake.
In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed Werewolf in the North Woods. The characters are great, the plot was fast and fun, and the romance was steamy! I was kind of hoping that Roarke would take the Bigfeet to Big Knob. That would have been a great reference for fans of the authors other paranormal series!

Werewolf in the North Woods A Wild About You Novel Vicki Lewis Thompson Books Reviews
It is a humorous story. It has werewolves and Bigfoot both. Lots of sex and sexual humor. I bought some more books by this author. I hope they are as funny as this one.
It's a terrific romp, with werewolves and a Bigfoot or two! The two main characters have fun together, build a relationship full of laughter and together, they are as the big bad wolf said to Red, "Delicious!"
Pure escapism! Had everything I want in a paranormal fiction book; realistic story (under the circumstances), sensual dialogue, cheering for the hero and heroine and (spoiler alert) Bigfoot! Just add me to the list when the next book in the Wild About You series comes out...that's all I ask!
I just finished reading this book and it was even better than the first one! A super sexy romance between the charactors will make you squirm. Once again Thompson does a great job with writing another great novel! I really liked how this book had a main charactor "Aidan" from the first book "A Werewolf in Manhattan" come in this book as well. A juicey read from beggining to end. Loved it!
This is another of the "Werewolf in..." serise. I love this one because it has, in addition to the sexy werewolves, and red hot werewolf sex it has Mr. and Mrs. Bigfoot in it as well. Yes Virginia, there REALY ARE BIGFOOTS IN THE nORTH wOODs!!!
This book was most surprising..it had humor ,romance ,hot sex and all kinds of twists and turns. The story was like a breath of fresh air. The story reminded me of of our humanity and to extend our caring to all creatures...
Thank you Ms. Thompson
I love Vicki Lewis Thompson and I have most of her books. The first book in this series was hilarious, sexy and really really good. I'm not wowed by the sequel. It's not a bad sequel, but there were some cheesy moments that were just not good. I found the book a bit repetitive and the ending felt forced. I'll continue to give the next book in the series a try to see if it gets better.
BOOK 2 IN A 7 OR 8 BOOK SERIES.....If you are looking for a romance with humor and an unusual paranormal twist, this is the book for you. This novel really has it all-a fascinating plot filled with hot love scenes and edge of your seat suspense, appealing and unique characters with witty dialogues.
Seemingly forever to his family Grandpa Earl Dooley has searched for Bigfoot in the Oregon wilderness not far from Portland. Ten days ago Earl claims to have seen two big furry and smelly creatures, but his photo lacks conclusive clarity. his wealthy neighbors the Gentry family declares Earl is nuts. The Gentry family brings in NYU Anthropology Professor Roarke Wallace to prove Earl's claim was a fake. His granddaughter Insurance Claims Adjuster Abby Winchell arrives from Phoenix to persuade her Grandpa Earl to sell to the Gentrys and move closer to her home. To convince her beloved relative, she must get Professor Wallace to back down. She shows him pictures to force him to assist her quest for the truth. He is attracted to the Arizonian, but hides that he knows what her grandfather found from her while the werewolf pack fears the professor is betraying them.Along comes.. Bigfoot fanatic Donald Smurtz who wants to prove he is right at any cost ....
Roarke is a wolf-human-shape shifter. His community of werewolves keep their existence secret from humans. Abby discovers he is a werewolf and blackmails him. She tells him she wants to accompany him in a search for Bigfoot. Roarke wants to relocate Bigfoot to a safe area away from humans. So they take camping gear and head to the woods for a few days....Then so begins the suspense and romance..
